Growing Gardens in Schools!
I am so excited to share my experience working along side the Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, and Hopkins Public Schools. I have had the opportunity to help implement 36 gardens into the classroom. This started very simply with me offering to share my own garden with my son's kindergarten teacher and has now expanded into an integrated enrichment program. I have loved the experience of working along side the teachers, principals, and especially the students.
Their enthusiasm is contagious!
I love spreading healthy living through growing your own food in schools.
Kids eat what they grow, then take it home and share the healthy habit with their families!
